Hello, I have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis
I feel best when tsh is under 2.00
In fact 1.5 is great.
Anything over 3.00 is an indication your thyroid needs help with a thyroid medication. All doctors have their own lab values they go by. Some will say it’s normal until it’s over 5, by this time the patient suffers with many symptoms, weight gain tired cold loss of hair thickening around front of neck many more
"The normal range for TSH is between 0.5 mU/L and 5.0 mU/L. 1. What does it mean when your TSH levels are low? A low TSH level—below 0.5 mU/L—indicates an overactive thyroid, also known as hyperthyroidism. This means your body is producing an excess amount of thyroid hormone.
If your TSH level is higher than 5.0 uIU/mL, then the lab will flag you as “high".
