I just started this medication last night, with only half a 150mg tablet. I have had a headache all day. Is this normal? Will it go away with time? I seem to have a history of headaches with meds.

Headeaches are considered a very common side effect affecting 10% or more of people being treated with this anticonvulsant.
Very common and common side effects subside within a week to 10 days give or take as everyone reacts differently to medications and what comes with them, in this case possible side effects.
I suggest you ask your Pharmacist/Chemist for an OTC medication for headaches that does not interact negatively with Trileptal (Oxcarbazepine). If the headaches persist do inform your Dr..
