I'm currently taking 50mg of trazodone. I'm a week in. I am curious to know when will the medication balance out in my system and side effects go away?

Answers
Hi, Blease!
It will depend on how fast your metabolism adjusts but in general side effects usually resolve within about 7-14 days and should lessen as each day goes by.
If it persists longer than 2 weeks let your doctor know. You're on a pretty low dose so hopefully for you it won't be much longer.
