How do you feel? I never have heard of anyone taking that much at one time let alone in the morning! If you function it shouldn't matter what anyone else feels. Let me know how you function and what do you take at night???
Hello everyone; I take 100 mg in the evening and recently I've been experiencing side affects like loss of balance, burning sensation in upper body and increased metabolism. Has anyone experienced this?
Its a lot but its not outside the dose range. Can I ask if it makes you tired? I took 150 mgs (I war prescribed 300 mgs) and thought it was the most sedating thing I've ever taken
My husband now takes 300mg daily and it doesn't make him tired at all. It was originally prescribed at 50mg for sleep and it did help him, but given his general depression/anxiety his doctor has gradually increased him to a therapeutic dose and it's very effective.
Have you tried Seroquel???
I took Seroquel for some time as a adjunct to my Bipolar meds and it was quite helpful but is no longer needed.
My husband's doctor will not prescribe Seroquel as a sleep aid... and also felt my husband's sleep disturbances were due to anxiety and depression... and he's right.
Yes I've been on Seroquel 200 mgs and still have 100 mg tabs I can take for sleep if needed but for me Trazodone was way more sedating and uncomfortable.
Wvb; I could not agree more with my good friend WildCat. As long as your ability to take that much during the day and are not having any problems then just leave it that way the dose is in the right range and I have seen many people take it during the day. So just stick with your doctor's orders and just as my friend said do your best to take it about the same time each day and don't run out or forget to take it. have a good weekend.
Hi, Wvb! You're taking the maximum daily dose but that's not too much if that's what your doctor prescribed. As long as it doesn't leave you drowsy you can take it anytime you want but be sure to take it at the same time every day. There's no right or wrong time to take it.
depression, anxiety, insomnia, trazodone, major depressive disorder
