I have been on Zoloft for almost 8 years and the drug doesn't work for my panic disorder anymore, i guess my body has built up a tolerance over time.
Anyway my doctor is weaning me off Zoloft and starting me on Pristiq.. has anyone done this? I am so petrified i will lose it when changing drugs, i have a new job and i dont want to lose it by being an absolute mess by changing drugs..
Any advice will be great.

I complane fron depression after birth
I am currently off the Pristiq for a week now, but started taking the zoloft 50mg.. I'm having some side effects, but not sure if it's coming off the old pill or the new I'm taking
I have recently been changed from zoloft to pristiq. I have taken pristiq in the past and feel it does more for me than the zoloft. I also take xanax 4 times a day. Just wondering if anyone else has switched straight from one to the other as I don't feel the need to taper off zoloft?
Hello, I have been on Pristiq for nearly 4 yrs now for an anxiety & depression
which i did not know i had. You can take it in the morning or night as directed.
I am on two tablets a day with a special script buy two for the price of one from
my Dr. as one script was costing a lot so i got five repeats. Pristiq will take about
24-48hrs to work and does not make you drowsy , it makes you a lot sharper and
less depressed / anxiety.
I don’t know if your on here. I see it worked for you very quickly I am on 50mgs for 28 days and better in late afternoons and evenings . When did you raise your dose. I have no side effects
I kind of did the opposite, I went from Pristiq to Zoloft. In my opinion, I don't like the newer drugs. They made me groggy and slow, more of a drugged feeling. It didn't do much for my anxiety. You may have better luck. I just find the old school drugs are better. The doctors don't get perks for prescribing those though. I had debilitating anxiety and have for many years. I did hypnotherapy and went back to Zoloft and that's helped the most. Talk to your doctor and see what they say. I had to switch doctors to get an old school drug and tell him I refuse to take a newer drug. He was fine with that. Good luck!
Hello, Pristiq does not make you drowsy as you see my comment to
