Due to gastro issues, I get nauseated very easily. So nervous I won’t be able to keep this med down. I may even cancel the colonoscopy due to fear of the side effects I’ve read about. Any suggestions or comments on the amount of nausea caused by Suprep will be helpful. Thank you.

I had Suprep prior to colonoscopy. After the first 16 oz of water following the first dose, I did throw up. The second round stayed down. I’m scheduled for my second colonoscopy and was prescribed Sutab for the prep and consists of 12 pills. This may be a better fit for you and avoid the nausea. Best of luck as the scope can be a lifesaving procedure.
I was prescribed Suprep for a colonoscopy and was of course it made me go, but it also made me so nauseous by the end of the night, I did end up throwing up. I didn't sleep because of all that and ended up having to do another round and the same thing happen. I also had an ulcer during that time and I was previously vomiting before that, but that started to dissapate as I began my treatment and it started again on the Suprep.
I’m sorry I don’t have an answer for you, but you actually voiced my worry. Did you end up going through with it? How did it go? I’ve been sick and nauseous due to too much bile and I fear I’m not even going to be able to stomach this stuff
