Xarelto - anyone experienced severe stomach cramping, what minimized this?

I have been on Xarelto for 15 days. I have experienced continual severe cramping and abdominal pain. Has anyone had this same experience or found a cure for this reaction? Any methods to minimize the abdominal discomfort?

My father is taking Xarelto 10 mb as a blood thinner for the afib. He had a hemorrhagic stroke and the doctors were concerned due to his age to restart a blood thinner like warfarin. This was a compromise. He needs an antiobiotic for a possible infection.

Xarelto - does this med cause acting out nightmares of severe hallucinations causing anxiety?

My husband,84, has only taken this med 3 times and last night he had a bad episode of nightmare taking over him and being agressive and very angry at people he said were trying to get him, he removed the trapeze bar for a weapon against imaginary gangs. I was very frightened by all this.

Can I take only half of my 10 mg Xarelto medication a day because the whole 10mg bothers me too muc?

When I take the whole 10mg on a consistent basis, after a few days I feel very anxious and nervous. Is there anything that I can do that will lessen this effect.
