Can you take Armour thyroid with synthroid?

I have been on synthroid for 12 years since the total removal of my thyroid. I have weight gain, hair loss(clog drain every time I wash my hair) and low energy. Sometimes my thinking seems foggy and slow. My dose has been checked and adjusted to current levels of 112mg.

Armour Thyroid - Has anyone had the rash and itching and manage to work around it?

I have been on Synthroid, and Levo, neither help as this has. I have had really bad itching with hives and rash though.I can't go back to synthetics.Any help?

Thyroid levels low, so doctor DECREASES my levothroid?

I had my thyroid removed 10 years ago. My blood test just came back and it showed my thyroid levels are low, so my doctor just decreased my levothroid from .137 to .125. Is this correct??? Shouldn't my levothroid be increased rather than decreased?

Does Synthroid cause weight gain?

I have been on Synthroid for a little over two months now, and my thyroid levels are now normal, but I am seem to be gaining weight, especially in my lower abs, and thigh regions. Has anyone else had this problem? And if so, what have you done to help with the weight gain?

Can I safely ween myself off Levothyroxine?

I had a nodule on my thyroid that went away and I'd like to get off the low dose of Levothyroxine I've been on for about 10 yrs.. Can I do it and how? My dose is only 5mcg.

What is the normal range for free T4 and TSH?
