I have a dry scaling scalp condition that is spreading slowly. I treated a similar condition on chin caused by combing my beard and scratching the skin. I used the Hydrocortisone 2.5% along with Clindamycin Lotion 1%. I discontinued the Hydrocortisone after 4 days.

Can you use a hydrocortisone cream (daktacort) on the back of your ears? The back of my ears broke out in a painful rash so I used daktacort hydrocortisone cream on it for a couple of days, and now my ear lobes seem to look lager, could it have something to do with thinning the skin

Will Cephalexin help? So far, all that relieves my itching is hydrocortisone, but it does nothing to make the itching permanently go away. I have had Kenalog shots which completely halt itching, but was told not to have them often (once a yr or less) as they are harmful to bones.
