I don't understand the difference between hydrocodone and oxycodone. Is one stronger than the other?

And is the only difference between percocet, endocet and vicodin a brandname? Are they all pills containing hydro or oxy codone? Thanks, in advance, for your help with this.

Codeine 300/30 - Concerned about the strength of my prescription?

I have frequently taken Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, etc. in either 5 or 10 mg strengths for codeine. Looking at the prescription I just had filled it is 300mg acetaminophen and '30 mg' codeine.
