Expiration - how long after ex date is zolpidem (ambien) safe to use?

Can taking .25mg zanax a night to help sleep have any bad sideffects?

I was on Ambien and quit, so side effects, started the zanax about a month ago and feel pretty god and getting a good nights sleep.

How many hours apart is it safe to take 0.5 Xanax 3 times a day. I am taking every four and a half?

My chronic insomnia is back.

I am now looking into asking my doctor if I can try Ambien at bedtime to treat my insomnia. I want positive feedback from anyone who has taken it and did it help for staying asleep?

Ambien not working for anyone else?
