Colchicine first doze is 1.2mg followed by 0.6 mg after 12 hours and then once daily at 0.6mg. Allopurinol given at 100mg daily. The combination was intended for severe gout attack. What should be avoided when taking this drug combination?

My uncle has gout in the wrist and it hurts bad, so how can he ease the pain? He already has been taking Celery Circulation and pain pills. It's swollen and in alot of pain!!!

I was hospitalized for 6 days, the as a result of a severe allergic reaction to allopurinol. I had rashes all over my body most have now subsided and are not active however I keep getting flair-ups (patches of rashe) and my legs continue to be very itchy and patchy.
