Colchicine first doze is 1.2mg followed by 0.6 mg after 12 hours and then once daily at 0.6mg. Allopurinol given at 100mg daily. The combination was intended for severe gout attack. What should be avoided when taking this drug combination?

I have been prescribed allopurinol 300mg and just started. It seems like the gout has gotten worse since taking it so I am continuing to take indomethacin. Should I up my dosage of allopurinol? I have been prescibed Allopurinol and Colgout to be taken together. 180 days of colgout ! I am still getting severe stiffening and pain in my joints. Should these two medications be taken together ? Should colgout be taken for so long ?
