Or should I suspend taking the Allopurinol(my daily maintenancew drug) when I have an acute attack and begin taking Indomethacin?
Can I take both Allopurinol 300mg & Indomethacin 25mg at the same time during an acute gout attack?

I was prescribed colchicine on Thursday June 20 and on the 22 and 23 I have diarrhea my family Dr prescribes Allopurinol 300 mg and Indomethacin 50 mg and I need to know can I take them together and how long after stopping colchicine
You shouldn't stop your allopurinol during an attack. But I would talk to my doctor about why you're still having attacks. Have you recently started the allopurinol? If you have, that could be why you're having an attack. Or maybe allopurinol is not the right gout medicine for you... there are others. In the meantime you can take both medications until you consult with your doctor.
