Hi curious,
My son took it and he felt very angry with it, like he wanted to punch his teachers as an example. Everyone is different though. You need to just try it to see if it is for you or not!
Many medications for ADHD are amphetamines (or other stimulant drugs) Stimulants are like "speed" they stimulate the central nervous system. Strattera isnt an amphetamine, it isnt a stimulant. It works differently to help ADHD symptoms. Strattera (atomoxetine HCl) is a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor so it is more like an antidepressant than other ADHD drugs. It wont feel like "speed" when you take it.
Strattera is not a stimulant like the other meds for ADHD.
What does that mean?
