Someone could help me? I have serious issues on my job (I guess I will fired).
I cant deal with negative thoughts and scenarios that I create in my head.
I live in constant fear. Fear of getting fired, fear of staying jobless forever, etc
Five days ago I started Lexapro 10 mg. Is this a good choice?

I took Lexapro for over 7 years and it was a true game changer for me. I was so fearful that I couldn't work, drive, or even leave my house until I started this medication.
Lexapro is one of the top five medications prescribed for generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety disorder (SAD), OCD, PTSD, and panic disorder. It's user rated 7.5/10 for anxiety and 8.3/10 for GAD.
It's not going to give you instant relief... most people see improvement in the first week or two but it can take 4-8 weeks for the medication to become fully effective. You'll need to be patient and keep a positive attitude and in the end you'll probably feel that it's changed your life for the better.
