About to start Efudex treatment for the first time. can I shower normally while using it?

Yes, you can shower normally, but wait at least 2 hours after applying Efudex and minimum 10 minutes if you shower before applying it to ensure that your skin is thoroughly dry. Keep in mind that skin will be very sensitive on the treated areas, so you should probably use a mild, nonsoap product on those. I personally used Cetaphil sensitive cleanser on my face as it is extremely mild.

and wait 15 minutes to be sure my face was completely dry. if you or anyone reading this is
hesitant to start the treatment take it from me it is well worth the short discomfort for what your
skin is like after.
