I’ve been taking citalopram for 3 days now and I’m sleeping all the time and feel so lethargic. Is this normal?
What are side effects of citalopram?

I’ve been having a lot of night sweats and chills. I feel like I’m cold all night and wake up drenched in sweat. Is this another common side effect?

Answers
Hi, Jerdn!
What you describe are very common side effects of citalopram and most other antidepressant/anxiolytics. Fortunately they will generally resolve within days to a week or so and usually lessen each day that goes by.
It's always a good idea to report side effects for professional advice but this is most likely just a matter of giving your metabolism a little time to adjust to the medication.
