I had been on metoprolol but it didn't bring my BP down enough. Changed to nebivolol, which is Bystolic generic, and it caused me to have a rash like eczema. Dermatologist did a biopsy and nebivolol was the cause. Back on metoprolol again. Trying to see if taking it with eppelerone helps. Doc mentioned hydrazaline but I have mitral valve issue and kidney issue and it can worsen these. So, not taking it. Had a stroke and vascular doc said caused by hydrazaline iv taking BP down too fast and trash went to brain. Had carotid surgery, 90% blockage. Doing great, no visible side effects. Very lucky.
