I take omeprazole for acid reflux. I have been taking it before going to sleep. Should I be taking this 1 hr before a meal?

Patti is correct. But one thing I do is take my last pill of the day one hour before my last meal of the day.
I was just recently advised to take it a hour before eating. If you have to take any at night, make sure you take it an hour before you go to bed. You are not supposed to lie down within an hour of taking it, so, it can descend into the stomach properly.
Thank you very much for the reply. I had been taking the medication the past 2 yrs just before going to sleep, & my condition has not improved.
