I had unprotected sex the day my period ended (no blood) It was only for a few minutes and he pulled out but said he wasn't close to ejaculation. But after so much paranoia and research I found out about pre-cum. I took Plan B one step about 2 days later (48-50 hours) After 7 days after taking it I noticed brown-blood like on my underwear. But gradually turned into regular blood and heavy bleeding at that. It only lasted 2-3 days. I am still very worried about this bleeding. Is it my period? Does it mean I'm not pregnant? Please give as much detail.
Had sex day after period. Took Plan B and bled a week after again?

Taking the Plan B or morning after pill on the first or second week of your menstrual cycle will cause you to have spotting in between your period- about a week after you take the morning after pill and your next period may come early. Taking it on the third or fourth week may result in spotting as well (maybe no) and your period might come late. It is highly unlikely you will get pregnant when you take the morning after pill if you haven't ovulated or am far off your ovulation. You should take note of your ovulation (its when you have white or clear watery discharge and some uterus cramping. Most accurate is when you feel a twinge in either side of your uterus and your left breast has a twinge straight after). If you spotted, you're definitely not pregnant.
I took the morning after pill a few days after my period and what I wrote above is exactly what happened to me. (I was unfortunate to have to take the morning after pill again- this was after my spotting was over). My period came as predicted but my cycle is always regular. My next cycle was as usual, but I experienced really bad PMS and spotted before my period too. It can mess up your cycle a bit. I'm all good now and to anyone reading this, you shouldn't worry too much.
You don't need it if he didn't came in you anyway. If you're very near your period, you're not fertile, so don't stress your body. Hope this helps!
I had sex with my girl on jan 7 2017 with no condom and i busted in her and i got her plan b and her period was supposed to be on the 10th but it didnt happen but it came today jan 11 a day late but we dont know if the bleeding is from the period or its from plan b spotting or from being pregnant. Pls help
Chances are that that is her period because she took the plan b so close to her next period usually when a girl bleeds due to the plan b its when she is towards the beginning of her cycle your girl was closer to the end. I took plan b two times and the first time I was closer to the end of my cycle and I bled because of my period not the plan b.
Literally same thing happened to me.. had sex after my period ended .. took plan b next day 4 days later I'm bleeding.. also I'm suppose to start birth control first day of my next period but wondering if I can just start it now??
What if her bleeding were light ??
I had intercourse on the 7th day of my cycle which was around 2 days after finishing my period, condom got stuck inside me so the next day less than 24 hours I took plan b. One week later I experienced light bleeding at first which then turned heavy and lasted for around 4-5 days, despite my predicted period wasn't due for another two and a half weeks. I marked that period down and 3 weeks later I got my period again. Just keep in mind that your next period may be different I experienced really bad cramps and heavier bleeding on my second period after taking plan B.
If you had a regular to heavy bleeding a couple of days - week after taking the pill then you shouldn't be pregnant, also I would mark your next period as a couple of weeks from the induced period you got from the pill
I had unprotected sex , the day after I took a plan b around 5pm. Then I started bleeding a week later. It was light at first then was like my normal period with light cramps. I had sex during and after the bleed.. I know . Bad decision ... But now I'm a week later and took two tests this morning. One negative, one positive. Does this mean I am pregnant!!! Help please...
Wed by word on what is occurring with me period ended on September. 1 and had unprotected sex at midnight between 2nd and 3rd of September and took plan b pill Saturday the 3rd before 2:00p.m. and now that we are on the 9th of September I started to spot. So this is normal?? Along I've been having headaches and feeling light headed.
did your period come?
Hi guys, so just like everyone else on here I'm currently going through the same situation. I've had plenty of pregnancy scares, and 2 bad ones (condom completely ripped, and he ejaculated in me) so I took plan b. Both of these situations were about a year ago, for both my period was just delayed by like a week.
I ended my period August 13/14... so there was no blood on the 14. My boyfriend and I had sex that same day. We always check our condoms for holes after we are done with them. After 2 years of "unnecessary" checking we had one with a pinsized hole, and cum could seep through. So within the hour I took Plan b. Yesterday I noticed I was bleeding quite a lot... and it's only been 6 days between my last period. And I've never had an early period of 3 weeks!!! So I am freaking out. I'm the type of person to try/want to self diagnose for everything. And I'm so scared it might be implantation bleeding.
Because the timing is right, the blood was brownish and somewhat pinkish.
The responses on here have calmed me down a bit, but it frustrates me that no one has replied back. Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to give as much information/detail possible. I will keep you guys posted.
What ended up happening?
No baby! Just a side effect from the pill.
i’m having the same thing but when did your period come?
Hi,
I am facing the same problem.. I had an unprotected sex on 4th August and took medicine plan B within 24hr and now I saw a brown spot on 11th and it converted into red bloody bleeding.. It's not heavy.. But it's not ending... I am really tense... What is going on?? When I will get my regular periods back??
Did things work out for you ?
Omg. I am so glad you posted this because the same exact thing just happen to me!! I had no clue i was on my period. And i JUST ended my period and had sex on the day it ended 5 days ago. I took plan b 4 days ago. I am going to assume we are not pregnant. Sorry i dont have a straight forward answer for you, im just happy im not alone.
Did things work out for you?
It is the pill.side effects it means u not pregnant your period will also be a week or two weeks late don't worry it happened to me and I freaked out .watch out though don't have unprotected sex until u see your period again this pill drastically changes yours cycle .
Something similar happened to me. My menstrual ended 4/2 and I had sex that night and the condom popped so I took plan be the morning of 4/3. Now, on 4/8 i noticed dark brownish/reddish substance when I peed earlier, I don't know how long it will last but reading these posts makes me feel more comfortable
Did you end up pregnant?
The exact same thing is happening to me now except he did ejaculate in me, twice! Could you tell me how that worked out for you and If I need to worry?
Did everything work out fine for you? Please reply
I Know im late but can i please get some help.
okay so me and a girl had unprotected sex. I did not ejaculate in her im positive of that. about 20 minutes after we did this i purchased the One Step Plan B and she took it, she did not vomit but did experience nausea after the pill for a couple of days or so. She has irregular periods.she had her period jan 24th, then we had sex the following week, then 2 weeks after we had sex she had her period (so 3 weeks after her last period) ONLY reason im worried is becuase some people say that some women may experience period like symptoms when pregnant or is it that some women may experience period like bleeding but not the symptoms? idk im not too informed on that issue but she is pretty sure that it was her period. what are my chances of her not being pregnant? i know i should have never done that, caught up in the moment. PLEASE HELP
Hello ladies, please don't worry, I've had pregnancy scares numerous times. My boyfriend and I don't use protection because I am on the pill, but there have been occasions where he has lacked in the pull out method. I have taken the plan B twice and experienced bleeding both times. The reason for this is because when you have your monthly menstrual cycle, the lining of your uterus is shedding because you are not pregnant. If you were pregnant, you would not have a period because you would need the lining of your uterus for the egg to attach to the wall to house the fetus. The plan b forces you to have a semi menstrual cycle if this makes sense. Once your period ends, you began to ovulate and become more fertile and more likely to become pregnant because an egg is released awaiting sperm to fertilize. If this does happen, this is where the pill comes into use because that wall of your uterus needs to shed so the egg will detach.
Most of the time we are all paranoid and aren't pregnant in the first place but we still take the pill just to be safe. Moral of the story, the bleeding is normal. Hope this helped ! :)
hi, i took the plan b pill about 20 min after having unprotected sex. about a week later i experienced light bleeding and i didnt know if that was maybe my period, im supposed to start my normal cycle in about 4 days but i dont know if i will because of the pill, ive been super nauseous but i also suffer from gallbladder disease so i dont know if the being sick is from that or if im pregnant. please help
