I’m on 100mg sertraline and have been since January! Feeling a bit anxious again and I feel I should maybe up to 150mg but everyone I try to do this for one day I get so spaced out and feel my heart beat goes a bit weird? Is this normal ? Is it normal to get side effects when upping the dosage?
Sertraline upping dosage please help?

Totally normal to feel side effects with change in dosage. Also maybe a slower change try 125mg first for awhile to see if that helps. Also check in with life stress. Has anything changed or been triggering your stress/anxiety? Take care.
Thanks so much for this. I’m gonna try 125mg to see if this works, yeah new things have triggered. Started a new job, going on holiday and I hate planes and so anxious about being away from family. So maybe this has set it off
That makes sense. Do you have a medication to help with flying? I would ask for something if you have time. Good luck. It's a struggle sometimes.
I’ve turned to 125mg and I feel very anxious and have seen a rise in anxiety is this normal
Have you checked in with your doctor? Sometimes upping the dose just doesn't work. That did happen for me once, increasing my dosage actually made me feel worse. What did help was adding Buspar for me. So don't give up. The other day I was talking with someone that needed to change medications altogether. Were you able to take your trip? Sorry to hear you are still struggling.
