Sertraline: I've stopped taking but experiencing water retention?

Does anyone know if this is a common side effect of coming off of sertraline? I've been weaning myself off over the past 2-3 months and finally got down to zero at the beginning of last week, but am now experiencing a lot of water retention, being particularly uncomfortable in my ankles!

Hi, Savage! Peripheral edema is an uncommon side effect affecting only 0.1 - 1% of users when you're actively taking it. This article from Drugs.com may be helpful although after this length of time it's unlikely that this is a result of your withdrawal: https://www.drugs.com/medical-answers/long-sertraline-withdrawal-3573673/ I'd really advise seeing your doctor to rule out another cause especially because edema can be a symptom of a heart problem.
