Has anyone stopped taking Sertraline as they pooped out and tried a different antidepressant, and then returned to Sertraline and they worked again.

Hi, Sally!
As a rule usually not, but you can try a dosage adjustment (increase) from the amount you were taking before. You'd still have to titer up over a period of several weeks though to get to your optimum dose.
It's worth a try or the next step would be trying yet another antidepressant.
What AD were you taking after the "poop out"?
