I suffer from cyclothymia and anxiety and was prescribed Anxicalm a few years back and have some left over. I recently have been prescribed more but was wondering would it be safe to use the ones I already have. They were prescribed in 2012?
Thanks.
Is it safe to take Anxicalm (diazepam) that is 4 years old?

katie; Only if you use those first, At the pharmacy the expiry date is normally not right there is an override that we use that is a year from the fill date but most Diazepam last a good 5 to 7 years from the time you get it, If by chance the older stuff you have does not seem to give you any relief then toss it and use the fresh stuff. good luck
