Hi Derek17. I am so sorry about your clot. I can only tell you about my experience with Xarelto and smoking. I too had a DVT in my leg and had to quit smoking.
Please find a copy of any of Allen Carr's books about quitting smoking. The Easy Way to Stop Smoking is the one I read & it changed my world, as it has for millions. I quit smoking by the time I'd finished the book. So, I did smoke while on Xarelto for about two months.
Wishing you the best of luck with the cigs and the best of health to you. It does get better. The clot will eventually dissolve. Stay active. Move your legs as soon as you're able. Beth
I was discovered to have a DVT in my leg after meniscus surgery... I guess vaping is a source of smoking... I'm wanting to know if its safe to continue?
