I’ve been taking Paxil 20mg for 2 weeks now, and tonight my legs have gotten so tense to where it feels funny walking on them and they get weak. My arms and fingers are tense to and I’m very anxious in my back and stomach.. I’ve thrown up tonight as well, first night this happens. I was on Lexapro 10 mg two weeks ago and my doctor took me off and started me on Paxil. Is this side effect normal? Really think I will call my doctor in the morning
What should I do about Paxil?

Hi, Monica!
Although these side effects can occur with Paxil they generally resolve within several weeks and should be subsiding now instead of persisting or getting worse.
Definitely report this to your doctor.
Best regards and I hope you're feeling better soon.
I think it happened because I stopped Lexapro cold turkey and didn’t ween off it.
