For years I have been taking 20 mg of Paxil and 12 days ago started to take 30mg. When to expect benefits to kick in? I was thinking 2 weeks since I have been taking Paxil for so long??
Just went from 20mg of Paxil to 30 mg Paxil?

Hi, Kgelhami!
You should start feeling significant improvements very soon. In general, it takes about 3 weeks for the drug to become fully effective after a dosage increase.
If you're taking it for an anxiety disorder it may take a bit longer as anxiety takes longer to respond than depression.
Be patient and keep positive thoughts.
Thank you for your positive words
I am taking it for depression/anxiety, after 4 tumultuous years of taking care of Mom with dementia/Alzheimer’s. 3 weeks since going from 20mg. to 30 mg. Mornings can be a challenge, but I do make an effort to go out for walks and meditate. Appetite still not great.
