My handsome son is autistic and has ADHD . He was recently prescribed Quelbree. He’s already on risperidone, guanfacine, valproic acid, and clonidine. He was taking methylphenidate too but I stopped that one. He’s sleeping A LOT! I’m thinking that’s because his body hasn’t gotten acclimated to Quelbree yet. I just thought that maybe continuing clonidine too, which makes him sleepy is too much. Help please?
Can Quebree be taken with clonidine?

Hi, Mom!
From some literature I found:
"The risk or severity of sedation can be increased when Clonidine is combined with Viloxazine."
It may be that this will resolve eventually as his metabolism adjusts to them both but you really should contact his doctor for professional advice.
