This is one of those times when it would be great to not have the internet. Back in the days, doctors would prescribe drugs and people would take them. If you had issues or side effects you would follow up with your doctor or pharmacist. Now days, people who have side effects seem to immediately go to the Internet and post about how horrible the drug is and tell everyone else not to take it. Well here’s the deal, we are all different. All drugs effect each of us differently, and you just won’t know how well it will work for you until you take it. I can say propranolol is one of the most well studied drugs on the planet. The man who developed it won the Nobel Peace Prize for medicine. I myself take a low daily dose for anxiety. My wife takes a higher dose for migraine prevention. My understanding is people who have the most severe side effects take higher doses 160-240mg. Most starter doses are half that amount. Again, we are all different, and I hope this helps. Good luck to you.
