I am 77 years of age and until recently I have been active. I have had aortic valve replacement 18 months ago and fully recovered. The smallest tablet is 25 mg but I was given 50 mg tablets and I feel it may be better to start with the small tablet and see how it goes. So can I break the tablets in half and take only one half and see I go on. I have not taken any so far.
I have been prescribed 50 mg sildenafil to try. Can I break the tablet and take only half to try?

Answers
50mg Sildenafil (Viagra) tablets can be cut in half with a pill cutter quite successfully. Pill cutters can be obtained from a pharmacy. I am successfully cutting Viagra tablets in half.
