I am in pain 24/7 with my back. I had surgery about 8 years ago as I was in pain all the time before my surgery and was advised that surgery was the way to go, my only option really. Three of my bottom discs where gone and I had a bone at the bottom of my spine that wasn’t supposed to be there so the shaved that away and cleaned up the missing disc area. I would say that I had no pain for about six months but then the pain came back tenfold had MRI scans and ct scans and they came back with scar tissue wrapping it’s self round my spin and nerves in my back. So we discussed another surgery to clean that up and the day of my surgery the surgeon told me that if we went ahead with the surgery there was a 95% chance of being paralyzed so needless to say the surgery was cancelled and I was sent off with painkillers for the rest of my life the problem now is 8 years later and still have chronic pain everyday needless to say the pain meds no longer help! Anyone have any advice for me or a alternatives to OxyContin that would help me?
