I don’t know but since my physician increased my dose to 0.5 I have been losing a LOT of hair!
Me too. I don’t know what to do about it. I don’t want to stop taking it, because my insurance doesn’t cover my victoza (that I took for years), but I’m freaking about the hair loss.
It is not listed as a potential side effect:
Because if they listed it no one would take it and it’s a huge money maker! I’m sure it caused my hairloss. Just horrible .

I truly feel like it is a side effect that should be listed but my dermotologist said that there is NO case study reporting hair loss with use. But the more of us that report it to our doctors it will help start a study. I was on a FB ozempic page & someone there is doing a study for her school & many of us told her to be sure & list hair loss as a side effect. I came off of it for 6 months but my A1C was horrible & weight & appetite were crazy. So just started back a month ago... but I am only going to take the lower dose & not go up. That seemed to trigger my hair loss which is now alopecia.
