I got it in June 2014 and gained 30 lbs within 3 months and I have had it for 5 it's a big deal for me because I just had a baby 2 months before I got it and my weight was already high for me but this made it worst, I change my diet and exercise routine for the better, I cut my calories, my sugar in take, my sodium, everything i was a new stay at home mom so i did my workouts at home but I went hard. I even tried over the counter diet pills but nothing worked,in fell into depression and my anxiety went through the roof...
The weight you have gained while on Nexplanon will remain unless you work hard to shake it off. The key to losing weight is to watch your calories, eat a well balanced diet and exercise regularly. It's particularly hard trying to lose weight while being a stay at home mum because you spend a good part of your day preparing meals and cleaning up food mess. Pay special attention to avoid "picking" and eating your families unfinished meals! If you are having difficulty shifting the excess weight talk to your doctor - there are some new weight loss medicines now available on prescription.
