My nipples have been hard all the time and hurt really really badly. Is this also a side effect?
I have had Nexplanon for a year, second time with it and my boobs have grown went from a 36 D to a 38DDD. In 1 year. My breast are very tender this time. Have been for a couple of weeks now.
Yes, it is from the hormones and it is very common. It should get better as your body adjusts to the hormones.

yea; no it is not just you I have heard this a lot and here is what it says in the drug side effects you should give the office a call and see what they say I know several said it went away shortly after but just to make sure follow these directions. , This info come from this web site in the drug info section. ((( If any of the following side effects occur while taking etonogestrel, check with your doctor or nurse immediately:
More common: •Breast pain@@@@@@ See this is a very common side effect with the Nexplanon, which is also know as the etonogestrel
thank you. But it's not like soreness. It's like when your on your period your nipples and breasts get sensitive. It's like that.
Yes that is very Possibly from the medication (HORMONES) depending on how long you have had it in. It may go away but if it continues you should check with the doctor or nurse. But as I said this is common with many different type hormones. And if it's enough to keep bothering you than check with the office.
