I had the nexplanon implant from begging of January until about 2 weeks ago. Worse decision I ever made in my life! I would have daily panic attacks, anxiety, depression, and just lost the will to live. Since having it removed I am still feeling these side effects and also different feelings of pressure in my brain. Called my OB/GYN and spoke with the nurse about it to see if this could be hormones getting back to normal and was told no, the implant was removed 2 weeks ago it will be out of your system. I don't really believe this. Has anyone else had this experience and if so how long before you got back to normal?
Nexplanon - How did you feel after Nexplanon removal?

Just checking. This brain pressure symptom sounds like symptoms people have been reporting in groups for those who've had reactions from some of the new injections for the C vrus. I don't know if you've had one, recently.
With regards to the other side effects, its different for everyone, as to how long it takes for their body to rebalance their natural hormones, & if they started other artificial hormones afterwards, to replace the implant.
I found vitex very helpful. It rebalances things. You might want to research.
That should have said that if you start a different type or hormonal birth control, in place of the implant, then its artificial hormones can also have an impact on your mood etc.
If you give the vitex a go, then be prepared to try it for at least a few months, although you could see improvements sooner.
