I have a 12 year old granddaughter with chronic constipation. She hates taking the powder and I think the pill form might be better. Her doctor ordered Miralax powder daily and if she misses a dose her stools are so hard and large she has pain and difficulty having a bowel movement.
Is the Miralax Pill as effective as the Miralax Powder? What is the difference?

Have you tried giving her the Miralax with a powdered flavor like kool aid? I used the grape one and I couldn't taste anything but the grape kool aid. They have the blue one too that is pretty good. I put it in a 16 0z bottle of flavored water and drank it within 10 minutes. Helped me out quite a lot. Shake it up a few times and it tastes just fine.
