Ok if you got these strengths for example:
0.25 mgs= one quarter of 1 mg.
0.50 mgs= one half of 1 mg.
If you add these two you have:
0.75 mgs which equals to three quarters of 1 mg and if you add another 0.25 mgs. you have 1 mg.
So:
0.25 mgs +0.25mgs = 0.50 mgs + 0.50 mgs= 1mg and so on.
Another example;
0.25 mgs + 1 mg= 1.25 mg and 1.25 mgs + 1 mg= 2.25 mgs and so on.
So 0.50 mgs + 50 mgs = 1 mg.
Take care,
I am sorry;
1.25 mgs +1.25 mgs = 2.50 mgs.
