I took Methyprednisolone as it says on the pack, so I took all 6 doses in the evening of the first day because I picked it up at the pharmacy late in the day and I slept very well. No sleeplessness.

The reason you, and others prescribed late in the day should wait, is Prednisone can cause insomnia and nervousness. You really don't want to take this in the evening, trust me!

Follow the instructions given to you, otherwise you're playing Dr and then uncertainty follows.
