Hello, this medicine is very serious medicine, I would ask the doctor for sure, I was told no aspirin of any kind. You could ask the pharmacist, but definitely do what your doctor says, take care, get to doctor because your heart situation.
I believe this is a question for your doctor. If he/she has put you on 5mg both morning and evening, I assume it is for your benefit. Personally, I would never change without consulting the doctor who prescribed this.
