I know it has been available in the US for awhile, but it is new to the SW Pennsylvania area. I know it isn't the OROS technology, per, but has anyone who was on Brand Concerta for a long time experienced differences with the NorthStarRx generic? We have had negative experiences with Trigen, Mylan, Camber, Mallinckrodt, Lannent and a few other generic versions.
It seems that the "authorized generic" made by Patriot Pharmaceuticals is extremely hard to find
in local pharmacies now, and people are getting this new version.
Methylphenidate - Has anyone had experience with NorthstarRX version of generic Concerta?

I've noticed a major difference between the effectiveness of the brand & the generic. The generic - all.of them - do not a the same Oros delivery system at all.
My pharmacy messed up this month & gave me Camber generic. What a joke. It's the weakest, least effective generic Concerta I've ever gotten. The 54 MG brand is at least 3 times effective than this. It's trash.
I always have my Dr. do a prior authorization for my insurance to pay for the brand.
