I very recently started taking Methimazole. I am wondering how long will it take the medication to get into my system and possibly take effect on symptoms such as restlessness, fatigue and apnea?

It may take weeks to months before methimazole has its full effect on the symptoms of overactive thyroid. Talk to your doctor if you are struggling to cope with these symptoms.
