I went to to the clinic today for a UTI and the prescribed me ciprofloxacin for it and it feels like it is taking to long for it to work I called the nurse at the clinic and she said sometimes it takes a little bit to kick in but I have taken this before and I was better in an hour. I don't know why it is taking long this time?
Why is my med ciprofloxacin taking so long to heal my UTI?

ashbash; Really it would not be too often that the antibiotic would stop the symptoms in an hour. And every Infection is different one maybe not too bad you caught it just as it was starting and others can be more advanced and it could take longer by most are taken care of in 3 to 7 days if you are still having problems the first of the week give your doctor a call again. good luck to you.
