The prescribing information says I should take luvox at night before bed instead of the morning. Does anyone know why or if its better to take it at bedtime? To me it makes more sense to have it active in your system during the day.
Take Luvox in morning or at night?

The only reason they give a specific time to take it is because Luvox is known to be somewhat sedating effect (compared to, say celexa, which is taken in the am because it causes excitedness in some). As the other responder said. I would start taking it in the pm and once your body is used to it, then you can decide what time of day is best for you. Please be sure to take it at the same time everyday though. Good luck. Melinda
For some folks Luvox causes drowsiness and sleepiness so better to take at bedtime.
