I'm planning a trip and when I wake in the morning I have terrible anxiety over it. The rest of the day I'm fine. If I take Ativan at night will it ease the morning anxiety?
Lorazepam - Will taking Ativan at bed time alleviate anxiety in the morning?

Kevin1710; The best way to tell is by trying it some people it can burn out in the morning and others can still feel the effects of it. But one good thing too is if you wake up with anxiety you can take the Ativan in the morning and it will help you that way too. So Try not to worry about it as you know this just makes us feel worse. You sound like you have it together well so I REALLY would not worry about it at all. This should do the job which ever way you end up having to use it. By the way, Most when they have to take it in the morning it should make you feel quite a bit better in as little as 1/2 hour. Just be aware if you have not used these before The first time or couple times can hit you a bit harder than after you have tried it or been on it for a while. I am sure you will do just fine.
Kevin I thought I would mention in case you are having problems in the morning these also work faster for many of us if you just place 1/2 to the full dose and dissolve it under the tongue it gets in your system faster and you for sure should do just fine
Great answer, Chuck !
Kevin...
Taking it under your tongue DOES work faster. I'd do it on a weekend so you know the effects.
Take care

Thanks Chuck for the info, appreciate it.
