kgiambai'''' Suprise but lorazapam has a pretty good shelf life most i dispensed had at least a 5 year shelflife now granted this is in the right conditions controlled room temp.never keep meds in bathroom etc but even at that they do not loose the potency that fast... do not double up on them at this point without talking with you physician. This is how many get into trouble..
Very good answer Chuck. My doc has me on 4mg. every 8 hours. I know this is a large dose, but it works well for my GAD. Never stop this med suddenly, you could get a seizure. Titrate down following your doc's direction if it becomes necessary.

You got it right there buddy so follow your own directions and when you get a refill maybe you get the stronger one ordered..glad you have it down now.if i can help just send it through lots of great people here to help and for what you are being treated for i have seen that to be a pretty comman dose your system because of what they are treating you require more..stick with it and try not to miss any does have a good evening
It takes 2 of the 0.5mg pills to equal one 1mg pill. General rule is to dispose of medications once they are a year old though potency may still be effective.
And never dispose of any medication by flushing or putting into the sewage system in any way this is dangerous to our water. Usually police departments or maybe the pharmacy will dispose of them properly. Thanks
