I've had Nexplanon for about 15 months (inserted Mar 2016) and have been bleeding almost nonstop ever since. There's only been 2 weeks that I wasn't on my period and I can't take it anymore. I plan on getting it taken out next week and was wondering about how long will it take for my body to go back to normal?

Also in the same boat , I just removed my nexplanon yesterday & my flow increased tremendously. How long will it be before i stop bleeding?
I'm in the same boat. Insertion date was 5/27/15. I got it removed yesterday. My flow increased about an hour after removal. I read women can get pregnant the first week skipping a period altogether, wondering if you become fertile while still bleeding.
It can take some time for your periods to return to normal but be careful as fertility has been known to be restored in 7 days after removal.
What is "some time"? A month..a few days???
'Some time' ranges from 1 week to 18 months and it varies from person to person.
