I upped the dose last night to the next up after 1.8 I have been bed bound all day. Vomiting diarrhea and the horrible sulfur burps. I'm nervous to take a dose tonight
I was at 2.4 when it got so bad. I hope it doesn't get as bad for you. I had to stop.
It sounds crazy but when I went from 2.4 to 3, my symptoms went away!!! Thank god
Starting my 2nd week and here came burps and gas. Constant gurgling of digestive system. Still continuing through week 3. I am waiting for my body to adjust. I have never been regular and because of that, if my stools are soft I feel sick. Well, they are liquid now so I always feel sick and it comes out of no where. I’m glad to see I’m not alone
How are things now? First week for me and side effects are not noticeable because I always feel sick and have loose bowels. Minor indigestion, little headaches, but no gas or egg burps. Maybe that will begin when I up the dose. I hope not.
I hardly have any side effects now, check out the pages on Facebook, Saxenda support
I know this is old but I have had the same experience. The first time it happened I thought I had gotten food poisoning from boiled eggs I had ate. Just incase I lowered the dose and after about 2 weeks it completely went away. I started to up my does again and have been on 3.0 for 3 days and the burps are back. I won't be going that high anymore it's just not worth it. I'm glad I'm not the only one to have experienced this side effect.
I am on my second week and it truly hasn't been nice. Horrible stomach cramping, what I call boiled egg burps,
And nausea. But my appetite is almost nonexistent so I don't want to stop. I'm told that the side effects will go away soon so I'm sticking it out.
I gave it up. It got to the point I felt like I was going to die. My stomach hurt so bad it scared me. Never again. Not worth it.
Saxenda I thought would help me lose weight. The slow increase didn’t cause any side effects until I got to the dose of 1.6 or higher. After that I couldn’t increase any more due to the egg burping and gas. I felt bloated and burped horrible tasting rotten egg fart burps. And not just little burps- it was huge, long , big burps. Gross and embarrassing. And then the gas- just as bad. And constant. I can’t stand the feeling of bloating and constant putrid odors exploding from every opening !!
I had to stop taking the drug and am looking for alternate diets. This didn’t work for me. And if you stop taking it, the gas takes a week to go away. And don’t start up taking it without ramping it up- instant gas and burping and bloat. It’s just disgusting. Makes me feel nauseous and want to throw up with every burp. Not fun. Not worth the end result.
yes I have. It happens occasionally and I am not sure what I was eating caused it. It may have been something with too much fat. Before I was on this I use to have the same issue when I ate something that did not agree with me, so I didn't think much of it.
I Know this question is few years old. But i came here to see if anyone else was experiencing this issue. Wish more recent ppl were. Past 2 to 3 days i've burp the taste of sour cereal milk haven't had milk in a week or more. On top of stomach cramps and, heart burn bathroom issues. I am on week 3 just up my dose last night.
I am just on pen number 5 the issues do get better. I was ready to quit because of the side effects. I’m glad there is someone new on here.
