Same symptoms for me. I have been taking it for last 5 months. When I call the doctor he says it will go away after a while. So far no change in my symptoms. Because I can’t eat my blood sugar stays normal and I lost 10-12 lbs in 5 months. My throat all the way down to my stomach is on fire.

I realise this is an old thread, but are you still experiencing these? I've been experiencing these foul rotten egg burps, however I'm not on Victoza, but I have heard of people experiencing them after using Trulicity and other insulin medications. There is an overwhelming number of threads about it online.

I am curious, do you have these attacks only after eating -specific- foods, or is it any and all foods? Also any nausea, vomiting or diarrhea?

I doubt that a medication for type II diabetes will help your breath. High blood sugar smells of ketones rather than Hydrogen sulphide. Have you been tested for Helicobacter pylori which does cause 'death breath'?
