I have severe cronich pancreatitis & I have really messed up ducts & surroundings. For the past few months I have been getting these burps that taste & smell like I just ate a rotten boiled egg. I mean they are BAD!! I have been getting them alot more lately too & they make me hurl bad & because of the pancreatitis it puts me in major pain from vomiting. Sometimes the vomet is just liquid & kind of a brown mucusy stuff. I really need to know why Im getting these burps & what I can do to control it.
NEED HELP FAST!!! Nasty egg burps?

I think Patiently gave you some excellent advice and I do feel you need to see a good gastro dr. Until you are able to get in a see a good gastro dr, try drinking some aloe juice and try some digestive enzymes. The digestive enzymes may help break your food down and the aloe will help soothe your digestive tract. I mix the aloe juice with a few ounces of some other juice. You can get digestive enzymes from the health food store and aloe there as well. Our local Publix grocery store also carries aloe juice. I am waiting for my insurance to kick back in and went to GNC out of desperation and told the clerk what was going on with me, and those 2 things I mentioned are what they gave me and it does help. It may take a few days for you to feel benefit, but it should at least help. I also cut back on size of portions and all restaurant foods, as sometimes I think MSG and other seasonings are causing some of my GERD problems, gas and burping. Good luck, and please update us. Gastro drs also treat pancreatitis, liver problems and gastro problems, this is what type of specialist you need. Patti
Agree sweet friend! I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you, Patiently and I hope you become pain free soon too! Patti
Thank you :) I am doing way better since I got myself to a specialist. Wish I would have gone sooner. I have seen that same thing in the posts/threads a lot too.. if you begin having symptoms of something and its not stopped in a few days you should see someone specialized! I have made that promise to myself, to stop waiting out and suffering when someone out there can help me. :) It's so important in our lives to have quality care also and not settle for a now n then but a doctor who cares and listens. We all deserve that.

If you haven't been to the doctor, make u an appt just for this. Thyroid can also cause these burps.. my advice is to go to your doctor and write down what u wrote here and ask those specific questions.
To be honest my mother had the disease but I don't know a lot about Pancreatitis. She had never drank.. anyway. I'm gonna mark the question and see what I can Google about it..
Call your doctor or nurse and get some medicine to control that reflux or gas..and have your thyroid tested. Full T3 T4 panel.
