I woke up early Saturday morning with severe stomach pains. I felt like i was going to throw up the pain was so severe. I ended up going to the bathroom a couple times but with no relief. My stomach feels like it's burning and it's super uncomfotable. It's constantly gurgling and cramping. i'm a bit bloated and gassy as well. My mon thinks it's from the Thanksgiving stuffing, they put a whole pound of butter in it!! I thought it was the combo of food I ate Friday but my aunt woke up last night with the same symptoms after eating the stuffing so we're convinced it's from that. How can i relieve this pain? i'm miserable.
If its from something you ate it has to work its way out. I'm not so convinced that its from butter. I'd be more inclined to think of a bug that got spread at thanksgiving dinner. Or the turkey not done right.
I don't know, but if it's not better in a few more hours consider going to the ER.
Where is the pain located? If its your upper abdomen, right under your ribs, its possible its your pancreas. Don't want to scare you and I'm no professional, just have lived with Chronic Pancreatitis for 10+ years. The pancreas can't process much fat at all. BUT if your aunt had the same symptoms, and you both can't go to the bathroom (assuming BM?) I'd suggest a mild laxitive (mirilax is a good one) and Colace, to soften it and not cause straining when you do manage to go.
Hope you're feeling better by now.
